Features

• Two Maps for Each Location: Two maps are provided for each location. Local street detail is shown on Map A, covering an area .35 miles across with your location in the center. Map B covers a larger area - 2 miles from side to side - showing highways and major roads.
• Your Location: Each store or business location is shown as a star in the center of the map.
• Map Image Size: You choose the length of each map side. Width and height are independent and can range from 2" x 2" to 4" x 4"; you specify the size that fits your mail piece or brochure.
• Delivery: Digital maps are delivered via email within five business days. Delivery time frames may differ for volume orders.
• File Format: Choose the optimal file format and resolution for your project, call for more details.

STORE LOCATOR MAP(S) SPECIFICATIONs INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR ORDER PLEASE READ BEFORE PROCEEDING The specifications below describe the map(s) you will receive. We believe you should know exactly what to expect when you order a map from Maponics. A sample is available on this page. If you have any questions, please call us at 800-762-5158. * You will receive two versions of your map each location you order: Version A: Includes local streets, major roads and highways Area shown on the map is approximately 0.35 miles x 0.35 miles, with the location in the center. Version B: Includes major roads and highways Area shown on the map is approximately 2 miles x 2 miles, with the location in the center. * Maps styles available are: --- Color - including the option of red or black for the location star --- Greyscale * Maps will be named based on the following naming convention "0001_B.xxx" where --- 0001 is an ID number assinged uniquely to each customer address record --- _A or _B refers to the version type of the map --- .xxx refers to the output format of the map (.pdf, .tif, .jpg etc.) If the customer provides a location name field for the map the following naming convention will be used: "0001_AAAAAA_B.xxx" where --- 0001 is an ID number assigned uniquely to each customer address record --- _AAAAAA is the location name provided by the customer --- _A or _B refers to the version type of the map --- .xxx refers to the output format of the map (.pdf, .tif, .jpg etc.) * Maps are available in the following formats --- TIFF --- CYMK TIFF --- PDF --- JPG --- PNG --- EPS * Map Resolution can be defined by the customer to suit their specific graphic needs --- If not specified on the order Maponics will produce PNG format maps at 72 dpi and all other formats at a resolution of 300 dpi. * Each map will show the following map layers: --- Site location, marked with a red or black star (red or black option for color maps) --- Local Roads (version A only) and Major Roads - black or dark grey --- Highways - black (red, green or black for color maps) --- Background color - white * Each map will have the same image size. Map dimensions are specified by the customer. The image width and height are independent, and each can be between two inches (2") and four inches (4"). For example, 2"x3.5", 3"x3" or 4"x2.5". * If Maponics is unable to locate any of your addresses, we will contact you for more information - such as a nearby intersection. This may delay the delivery of the maps. * In cases where labels overlap because of a high density of streets, the labels will NOT be allowed to overlap. Although Maponics runs each map through an optimized labeling process, there is no guarantee that any particular road will be labeled. * Street Naming: Often streets have more than one name (ex. State Highway 31 may also be named Main St) Due to size limitations Maponics will typically only place a single name, and cannot guarantee which of those name will appear. * Maponics uses high-quality map databases from TeleAtlas North America (TANA). Unauthorized copying of this confidential information of TANA is expressly prohibited. TANA makes no warrantees about the completeness or accuracy of the data and is not liable for any damages caused by use of this data. While TANA makes every effort to ensure an accurate nationwide street network, errors do exist. Maponics cannot guarantee the presence of any particular road. * A small Maponics logo will appear on each map. Any duplication, digital or paper, in whole or in part, must retain this logo.
