The specifications below describe the maps you would receive. We believe you should know exactly what to expect when you order a map from Maponics. A sample is available on both this page and the samples section of this website. If you have any questions, please call us at 800-762-5158.

* Map image will include 3-digit ZIP Code boundaries, state boundaries, state capitals, and either county boundaries or city points (depending on the version ordered).
* All 3-digit ZIP Code areas will be labeled with the 3-digit ZIP code. Our 3-digit ZIP Code map is updated annually in June.
... 3-digit ZIP Codes areas will be shaded in one of 5 colors, for easier differentiation between nearby 3-digit ZIP Codes.
... Where 3-digits ZIP Codes are split into more than one polygon, both areas will be labeled.
... Labels may overlap.
* For versions that include city points, the cities will be labeled as densely as possible given the size constraints of the map area. While Maponics applies a logical priority (based on population) to which cities appear, there is no guarantee that any particular city will be shown.
* For versions that include counties, the counties will be labeled as densely as possible given the size constraints of the map area.
* In dense areas, some labels may overlap. In all cases, the 3-digit ZIP Code labels will have priority.
* Maponics reserves the right to modify colors as appropriate to achieve the best cartographic representation. Custom coloring, labeling, and feature display are available for additional charges.
* Each map will include the Maponics logo information and any applicable copyright notices. Any duplication, digital or paper, in whole or in part must retain this information.
* Provided electronically in PDF format with a map size of 44"x68".
